Vitamin C

What It Does

L-Ascorbic acid is the purest and most potent form of Vitamin C, and is found in fruits and vegetables such as oranges, lemons, and leafy greens.  It repairs skin damage from environmental stressors, brightens skin, speeds up collagen production, and protects skin from free radicals.

Why It Works

L-ascorbic acid is the only form of vitamin C that can be fully absorbed by the skin, and works to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. At the cellular level, L-ascorbic acid repairs skin by rebuilding and binding cells together which “reweaves” skin fibers to renew and smooth skin. L-ascorbic acid also is a potent antioxidant that prevents free radical damage, and boosts SPF protection.
