What It Does

Why It Works
Pumpkin contains fruit enzymes and alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) that speed up cell turnover and deeply exfoliate by sloughing away dead skin cells to resurface the skin. Pumpkin extract exfoliates the skin through enzymatic exfoliation, which is a type of chemical exfoliation that breaks down the “glue” that holds dead, dulling skin cells together. Enzyme exfoliation works more gently than AHA chemical exfoliants to shed skin cells and speed up the skin’s natural exfoliation process.
